Stephanie Boyd

(she/her)

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Psychotherapy Services

I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults. I am dedicated to providing support for individuals with anxiety, depression, attention difficulties, stress management, difficulties with emotional regulation, relationship conflicts, grief and loss. In addition to my practice in the clinical setting, a significant portion of my work includes equine and canine-assisted psychotherapy. I am happy to speak to you about this area of my practice and the potential benefits it can provide.

I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to grow and live life to the fullest. I am a spiritually integrated psychotherapist who has completed a Master of Theology in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy. However, I am not a religious therapist. I enjoy sitting with others from all faith backgrounds, including those who identify as agnostic or atheist. I will not shy away from existential questions or discussions about exploring our place in the world. I am passionate about holistic treatment approaches and am guided by the belief that a person's spiritual and mental well-being forms the foundation for their overall health.

Over my career working in health care, I have witnessed the impact of loss on the trajectory of a person’s life. I am interested in helping clients of all ages who are dealing with loss due to disability or illness. I am passionate about working with family members and caregivers of those with medical concerns or disabilities.

I am committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment to everyone, including individuals who identify as 2SLGBTQ+ and their families. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you.

I am currently offering treatment to paediatric clients from infancy to adolescence struggling with developmental delays, neurological conditions, and orthopaedic impairments such as infant torticollis or brachial plexus injuries. I have a passion for working with infants and toddlers struggling to meet motor milestones and the treatment of children with cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions.
